We continue to expand the capabilities of Mobilescape, one of the most robust and feature rich payment solutions on the market. Over the past few months
we’ve enhanced Mobilescape’s ability to process, track and customize a variety of transactions.

Check, Credit, Cash?   Mobilescape NOW Does It All!

Mobilescape users can now track cash transactions with their Mobilescape terminal. Just like a credit card or check transaction, a signed copy of the receipt prints for each transaction and is stored on Mobilescape Manager along with the transaction’s details.

We currently have many Mobilescape users in the taxi field using the cash function who love the flexibility of giving riders the option of paying the fare by credit or cash.

The cash option is a free feature and can be requested for setup under the terminal options section of the deployment form. For all current users contact your relationship manager to have the feature added.
Mobilescape Launches InstallmentPay

Mobilescape’s InstallmentPay module is a perfect solution for merchants that allow customers to make partial credit card payments for their products or services.

How does it work? During the initial transaction the customer’s credit card information is captured and future payment amounts and dates are scheduled using Mobilescape. When the future payment date arrives the customer’s credit card is automatically charged for the scheduled amount.

InstallmentPay eliminates the tedious daily tracking of scheduled payments and the manual entry by the office staff. Like all transactions processed with Mobilescape, Mobilescape Manager tracks all payments scheduled and processed with InstallmentPay. 

When using InstallmentPay credit card numbers are safe and secure.  The customer's credit card is swiped/key-entered once into the terminal and Mobilescape takes care of the rest.  Sales slips with handwritten credit card numbers are eliminated improving the company's overall payment process.

As one of the pioneering mobile payment solutions Mobilescape gives users the flexibility to add and edit a number of transaction screens.  The three enhancements below allow users to customize their Mobilescape's interface to meet their company's needs.

NEW Custom Memo Screen
The custom memo screen eliminates the tedious manual text entry of the traditional memo screen. If a merchant needs to always associate a predetermined set of text with each transaction the custom memo screen is the solution.
 
For example, the sample custom memo screen on the right is for a photography company that has chosen to keep track of and report what photography package each customer is purchasing.

During the initial setup, a label and value are assigned to each icon/button on the custom memo screen. (maximum five per screen) When the icon/button is selected the assigned value is captured and reported in Mobilescape Manager and on the receipt.   
 
NEW Custom Screen Headings
Mobilescape now offers users the flexibility to customize screen headings for two information screens on their Mobilescape. The custom headings allow users to capture information specific to their company.  
 
The sample custom heading screen on the right is for a company that issues slip numbers instead of invoice numbers for each transaction.   
 
Mobilescape Manager Enhancement
We've also made a recent enhancement to Mobilescape Manager which allows Mobilescape users who accept tips to split out the tip amount from the original sale for easy reporting.  

When users view and export transaction details from Mobilescape Manager the original sale, tip, and total transaction amounts will now be displayed separately.  This reporting feature gives companies that pay on tips a quick snapshot of the amount due to each employee.
